Carolina Souza joined Licks Attorneys’ Rio de Janeiro office as a legal intern in 2021 and became an Attorney at Law in 2023. Her practice focuses on complex cases in intellectual property, including patent consulting and litigation in the pharmaceutical and telecommunications industries. Prior to joining Licks Attorneys, Carolina gained experience as a legal intern at prestigious Brazilian law firms specialized in intellectual property.

Her academic and professional practices are also focused on comparative law with a special attention to building, maintaining, strengthening bridges and legal-political, conomic, financial and cultural connections between Brazil and China and between Latin America and East and Southeast Asia.
